Technician Continuing Education Meeting a Success!
On Wednesday, September 12th, Veterinary Specialties Referral Center and Eklin Medical Systems presented “A Technician’s Guide to the Assessment and Support of the Trauma Patient”, the first in a series of quarterly presentations focused on issues pertinent to veterinary technicians and support staff. The dinner meeting was held at Riverstone Manor in Glenville. The speaker, Andrea Looney, DVM, DACVA is a nationally renowned leader in anesthesia and pain management in animals. The meeting was attended by 75 technicians, veterinarians and support staff from over 30 veterinary hospitals in Upstate New York as well as western Vermont and Massachusetts.
