 Diplomate American College of Veterinary Surgeons Established Veterinary Specialties in 1990. Dr. Glennon entered private practice in 1988 after completing his surgical residency at Cornell University. While at Cornell, he conducted surgical research, published several papers, qualified for board certification, and received the American Animal Hospital Association's Outstanding Resident Award. He was elected a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1994.
Dr. Glennon interned at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan in 1984-85. He is a 1984 graduate with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and recipient of the Upjohn Award for proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery. He is also a research associate at Albany Medical Center, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and a National Institute of Health (NIH) Grant Co-Investigator.

 Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Joined Veterinary Specialties Referral Center in the fall of 2003. Dr. Bowersox received his DVM degree from University of Minnesota, performed his internship at Cornell University and a surgical residency at University of Minnesota. During his residency, he was awarded a research grant from the Solvay National Resident Research Award Program. He completed his research and published the results in the Journal of the American Veterinary Association and had published several clinical reports since then. Following his residency, he was in private surgical practice for 6 years. He then spent 5 years as a faculty member in the department of surgery at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine where he was awarded the Top Clinical Teaching Award in 1999-2000.

Dr. Matus was the head of the Donalson Atwood Cancer Clinic of the Animal Medical Center, NY, NY 1983-1992. He sees patients at his home practice, Veterinary Specialists of Central New York, Oneonta, NY, and our Pattersonville office, as well as several other upstate veterinary practices.

Diplomate American College of Veterinary Radiology
 Dr. Stefanacci was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and attended the Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and worked in small animal private practices for six years in Philadelphia, Pa. He then completed a three-year residency in radiology, ultrasound and alternate imaging in 1992 at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
He accepted a position as staff radiologist and radiology department supervisor at the Animal Medical Center in July 1992 and became Board certified in radiology in 1993. He served in that capacity and as Director of Education at the Center, coordinating all domestic and international educational programs sponsored and featured by the AMC, from 1992 until May 2002. As clinical radiologist he oversaw all hospital imaging procedures, including diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, abdominal ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. He performed and interpreted all procedures daily and taught students, interns and residents in the clinics and by lectures.
He has lectured both domestically and internationally about radiology, ultrasound and alternate imaging. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles and textbook chapters on veterinary radiology in its various forms, especially as it pertains to the specialty of neurology. Currently he has a private veterinary imaging and teleradiology consultation business based in Long Island, New York; he serves many of the specialty and general veterinary practitioners of the tri-state region in this capacity.
